Netanyahu Vows Total Victory Over Hamas, Rejects Civil War Fears

by Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – At a memorial ceremony, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s determination to achieve all objectives in the war against Hamas and dismissed fears of internal unrest, declaring, “There will be no civil war—there will be no civil war.”

Speaking Monday evening at a ceremony for Irgun fighters who fell in the 1948 battle for Jaffa, Netanyahu declared, “We will complete all of the war objectives,” Netanyahu declared. “We will destroy Hamas’s rule in Gaza, return the hostages, prevent any future threat from Gaza to Israel, and return the residents safely.”

Drawing a parallel between the historic battle and the current conflict, he said, “Just as the liberation of Jaffa ended in complete victory, today we too adhere to the concept of complete victory.”

Amid growing concerns over internal polarization, Netanyahu was resolute: “There will be no civil war—there will be no civil war.”

He also addressed media criticism and regional threats, particularly from Iran. “We have not given up on dealing with the Iranian threat,” he said. “Do not believe what you hear on the news channels that spread poison, panic, or—in short—propaganda.”

The speech comes at a time of mounting pressure on the Israeli government, both domestically and internationally, over its war strategy, hostage negotiations, and broader regional security posture.
